Job Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, cable trays, conduits, equipment and appliances, using hand tools and power tools.
• Assemble, install and test electrical panel boards and connect it with HVAC equipment.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain electrical wiring, cable trays and equipment.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, panel boards, equipment, or other components.
• Can read & understand blueprints, electrical wiring diagrams, and single line diagrams.
• Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
