We are looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer for a reinforced-concrete box culvert project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Project: Single-cell RC box culvert, approximately 50 metres long.
Required experience
* Reinforced-concrete box culvert structural design.
* Retaining walls, wing walls and foundation design.
* Structural analysis and reinforcement calculations.
* Skewed culverts, expansion joints, PVC waterstops and stainless-steel dowels.
* Road traffic loads, earth pressure, groundwater and foundation stability.
* Saudi Building Code and applicable structural design standards.
* Preparation of detailed structural drawings, reinforcement details and bar bending schedules.
Scope of work
1. Review available project information and identify missing design inputs.
2. Verify the proposed structural dimensions.
3. Prepare structural calculations and design documentation.
4. Produce complete culvert and retaining-wall reinforcement drawings.
5. Prepare BBS and concrete/reinforcement quantity schedules.
6. Support technical review and drawing revisions.
Engagement: Project-based / freelance / consultancy contract.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
