Job Responsibilities

A transport and logistics operation in Dubai is hiring a Heavy Vehicle Driver to handle the safe transportation of goods, materials, and equipment using heavy vehicles. The ideal candidate should have strong road knowledge, responsible driving habits, and the ability to follow scheduled routes and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy vehicles safely for transportation and delivery assignments.
Transport goods, materials, and equipment between designated locations.
Follow assigned routes, schedules, and delivery instructions.
Conduct basic vehicle inspections before starting each trip.
Check fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, and other essential vehicle components.
Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and protected during transportation.
Complete delivery notes, trip sheets, and other required records.
Coordinate with the transport supervisor regarding routes and schedules.
Report accidents, vehicle faults, delays, or cargo-related issues immediately.
Follow UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company procedures.
Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle.
Assist with loading and unloading activities when required.
Requirements
Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.
Previous experience as a Heavy Vehicle Driver is preferred.
Good knowledge of Dubai and UAE roads.
Familiarity with safe cargo handling and transportation procedures.
Basic understanding of heavy vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude.
Physically fit and capable of handling transportation-related duties.
Ability to work flexible hours according to operational requirements.
UAE or GCC heavy vehicle driving experience will be an advantage.
