Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an School Counsellor who will supports students’ academic, emotional, social, and personal development and helps create a safe and positive school environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counselling to students.
Identify students facing academic, behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties.
Conduct assessments and maintain confidential student records.
Develop counselling and student-support plans.
Support students with career, academic, and educational planning.
Work with teachers, parents, and school leadership to address student concerns.
Handle student crises and provide appropriate referrals to external professionals when required.
Organize workshops on topics such as stress management, study skills, relationships, wellbeing, and career awareness.
Monitor student progress and provide follow-up support.
Promote inclusion, positive behaviour, mental wellbeing, and safeguarding.
Maintain professional confidentiality and follow school policies and child-protection procedures.
