Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Engineer to manage and optimize logistics operations for our ready mix concrete business. The role will focus on efficient delivery planning, fleet coordination, concrete dispatch, and ensuring timely delivery to project sites.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate daily concrete deliveries based on project requirements.
Manage and monitor ready mix trucks, drivers, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with batching plants, project sites, sales, and operations teams.
Optimize delivery routes and truck utilization to minimize delays and operating costs.
Monitor truck movement and ensure timely delivery of concrete.
Handle delivery disruptions and coordinate quick solutions when required.
Track logistics KPIs such as truck utilization, turnaround time, delivery delays, and fleet productivity.
Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Prepare daily and periodic logistics reports.
Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
7–10 years of experience in logistics, preferably in ready mix concrete operations.
Strong knowledge of ready mix dispatch and delivery processes.
Experience in fleet and driver management.
Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Knowledge of logistics/dispatch software and GPS tracking systems is an advantage.
