Procurement Engineer – MEP

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer – MEP to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring MEP materials, equipment, and subcontractors for construction and civil fit-out projects while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Procure MEP materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project specifications and schedules.

* Obtain quotations from approved suppliers and subcontractors and prepare comparative statements.

* Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best commercial value.

* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and the planning team to ensure timely material availability.

* Prepare and issue purchase orders and monitor order status until delivery.

* Evaluate and develop new suppliers while maintaining relationships with existing vendors.

* Ensure all procured materials comply with project specifications and quality standards.

* Coordinate with the warehouse and site teams regarding material delivery and inspections.

* Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.

* Support cost-saving initiatives through effective sourcing and value engineering.

* Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and project requirements.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

* Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP procurement within construction or civil fit-out projects.

* Strong knowledge of MEP materials, suppliers, and local market in Saudi Arabia or GCC.

* Experience in procurement of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical, and ELV systems.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

* Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

* Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in commercial, retail, hospital, or fit-out projects.

* Immediate joiners will be preferred.
