Job Responsibilities

• Plan material requirements based on production schedules and forecasts.

• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of parts and components

• Ensure procurement aligns with cost, quality, and lead-time objectives.

• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems.

• Monitor stock levels and implement reorder strategies to prevent shortages or excess.

• Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Oversee material movement from warehouse to assembly line.

• Optimize storage and handling to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

• Coordinate with logistics teams for inbound and outbound shipments.

• Verify incoming materials against specifications and quality standards.

• Prepare reports on material usage, inventory status, and supplier performance.

• Work closely with production, quality teams.

• Provide timely updates on material availability and potential delays.



Education: Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 2–5 years in material management within automotive or heavy vehicle assembly.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management tools.

• Understanding of automotive components and assembly processes.
