Job Vacancy – Civil Procurement Engineer

China Railway 18 Bureau is seeking an experienced Civil Procurement Engineer to join our growing team. We are looking for a highly qualified professional with extensive experience in procurement for high-rise building and 4/5-star hotel construction projects.

👌Mandatory Requirements (Please Read Carefully)

Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction procurement.

At least 80% of total experience must be in high-rise building projects.

Hands-on experience in 4-star or 5-star hotel construction projects is mandatory.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, contract administration, and construction materials.

Experience working with international contractors and large-scale construction projects is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the procurement process for civil construction materials, equipment, and subcontract packages.

Source qualified suppliers and subcontractors while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Prepare and evaluate Requests for Quotation (RFQs), bid comparisons, and procurement recommendations.

Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with vendors.

Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Planning, and Site teams to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements.

Review technical specifications, BOQs, drawings, and material submittals before procurement.

Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.

Track procurement schedules to avoid delays in construction activities.

Prepare purchase orders, procurement reports, and maintain procurement records.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and project quality standards.
