About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and technical Graphic Designer with 3–5 years of experience in an advertising agency environment. The ideal candidate does not just design; they understand the technical journey from screen to print. You will be responsible for creating high-quality visuals and managing the pre-press process for various output machinery, specifically UV Printers, Large Format Plotters, and Digital Printers.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Design: Develop engaging visuals for signage, branding, packaging, vehicle wraps, and corporate stationery (business cards, brochures).
Print Operation & Transfer: Prepare and transfer final design files to print production machines, ensuring compatibility with UV Flatbed Printers, Large Format Plotters, and Digital Presses.
Pre-Press Management: Expertly handle color separation, bleed setup, crop marks, and resolution checks to ensure zero errors during the printing process.
RIP Software Management: Use Raster Image Processing (RIP) software to nest and queue jobs efficiently for production.
Quality Control: Monitor color accuracy (CMYK/Pantone matching) and print quality on different substrates (acrylic, vinyl, paper, canvas).
Client Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to interpret client briefs and ensure designs are feasible for production within deadlines.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in an Advertising Agency or Print Production House.
Technical Expertise:
Hands-on experience operating or preparing files for UV Printers (e.g., for acrylic/gifts) and Large Format machinery.
Strong knowledge of printing materials (vinyl, flex, stickers, rigid substrates).
Software Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro). Experience with RIP software (e.g., Onyx, Caldera) is a major plus.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating both creative design skills and technical print projects (signage, packaging, etc.).
Language: Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
Soft Skills
Attention to detail (zero tolerance for typos or sizing errors).
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
Strong problem-solving skills regarding print feasibility.
