Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Officer / IT Supervisor to support and oversee the daily operations of our IT infrastructure within a fast-growing Saudi-based technology company specializing in telecommunications, IoT, AI, and digital transformation. The role involves supervising IT support activities, maintaining systems and networks, ensuring security compliance, and assisting in the implementation of cloud and digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Planning & Support
*Assist in implementing the organization’s IT plans, ensuring activities support departmental goals.
*Provide input to technology improvements and support initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
*Coordinate with the IT Manager to ensure smooth execution of IT-related tasks and projects.

2. Digital Systems Support & Automation
*Support digital transformation efforts by implementing automation tools and assisting with system upgrades.
*Identify improvement areas in day-to-day operations where digital solutions can streamline workflows.
*Assist with the rollout and adoption of new technologies across departments.

3. Cloud & Systems Administration
*Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of cloud environments and enterprise systems.
*Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and proper functioning of servers and applications.
*Execute data backup procedures and support disaster recovery activities.

4. Network & Information Security Support
*Oversee routine network operations, ensuring stable connectivity across the organization.
*Implement basic security measures, updates, and patches in coordination with the cybersecurity team.
*Assist in ensuring compliance with IT security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

5. IT Operations & Technical Support
*Supervise daily IT operations including help desk support and troubleshooting of hardware/software issues.
*Respond to service requests, resolve technical incidents, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
*Monitor IT assets and support hardware and software lifecycle activities.

6. Team Coordination & User Support
*Provide guidance to junior technicians or support staff and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
*Support end users by offering training, demonstrations, or technical assistance on systems and tools.
*Collaborate with departments to understand technology needs and provide the necessary support.

7. Resource & Inventory Management
*Monitor IT inventory, ensuring availability of equipment, tools, and software licenses.
*Assist in preparing IT budget inputs, quotations, and cost estimates for required resources.
*Support cost optimization efforts by recommending practical and efficient solutions.

8. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
*Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance, procurement, and technical support.
*Review quotations, track service delivery, and ensure vendor commitments meet required standards.
*Work with internal stakeholders to ensure IT services meet operational needs.

Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications are preferred, such as: CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator / M365 Certifications, Cisco CCNA or equivalent, ITIL Foundation Certification

Experience
3–6 years of experience in IT operations, technical support, or systems/network administration.
Experience working in telecommunications, IoT, AI, or digital transformation environments is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), virtualization, and enterprise applications.
Previous exposure to supporting large-scale networks, security systems, or digital platforms is preferred.

Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments, and operating systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, endpoint protection, patch management, and access control.
Familiarity with automation tools, ticketing systems, and IT service management (ITSM) processes.
Experience with IoT platforms, cloud technologies, or data-driven applications is a plus.
Ability to support Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, and enterprise communication systems.

Soft Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact with technical and non-technical users.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Capable of guiding junior staff and coordinating tasks when required.
Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and adopting new technologies.

Other Requirements
Proficiency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is an added advantage.
