Job Responsibilities

Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop, review, and oversee electrical design packages for interior projects, ensuring full compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and modify electrical design drawings, load schedules, schematics, and layouts.

Develop LV and ELV system designs, including lighting, power distribution, lighting control, fire alarm, data, access control, and other related systems.

Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project designs.

Ensure designs meet local authority regulations, safety codes, and industry standards.

Support project teams during installation by providing technical clarifications and design adjustments when needed.

Conduct design calculations using recognized standards and software tools.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Proven experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer (commercial, retail, office, or interior projects preferred).

Strong knowledge of LV and ELV systems, lighting design, and power distribution.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design tools/software.

Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
